Hedgerow management includes flail cutting & re-shaping by machine or coppicing by hand with all the trimmings chipped for recycling; for larger areas machines would be used & trimmings burned. Coppicing involves cutting and clearing to ground level allowing cut stumps to regenerate naturally.
Re-planting with native hedgerow species is best when filling in gaps in old hedgerows. New hedgerow can be planted if required; with a huge range of rooted plugs available for rapid establishment. All plants include cane support & spiral guards for protection. Our price includes some initial maintenance to aid establishment.
